Shared Inbox on the new Platform: WhatsApp for your team

Since the new 1MSG Platform launched in beta, its Inbox has been good for testing integrations, but not for daily work: only one person could use it. Now you can invite operators, assign and reassign chats, and handle WhatsApp requests together as a team.

Work on chats together

Every chat now has an owner. Assign a chat to a teammate or take it yourself from the chat header. Two people don't answer the same customer, and no customer is left without a reply.

New chats without an owner wait in the "New" tab. An operator can take a chat before replying, so teammates see right away that someone is on it.

"My open" shows the chats you own, and "All" shows everything. Filter chats by owner, by status (open or closed), and by unread messages.

Operator messages show the sender's name and avatar, and the chat list shows who owns each chat. When a chat is assigned, handed over, or unassigned, a system message in the chat records when it happened and who did it.

Bring your team in

The account owner invites teammates by email from "Settings". For each teammate, choose the channels they work with: they see chats from those channels only.

Teammates get a workspace built for conversations, with Inbox and Support, and without billing or account settings.
