What's not included
Meta charges for WhatsApp messages on its own rate card. Those charges sit outside the $39 platform fee. They are not folded into a “from $0” price.
On Buy WABA, message fees are billed separately according to WhatsApp rates. On Bring your own WABA, 1MSG does not charge your messages — you pay those fees directly to Meta.
How billing works
Platform fee vs Meta fees. $39 is the 1MSG platform fee. WhatsApp message charges are separate and follow Meta’s rates.
Per channel. A channel is one phone number connected to the WhatsApp Business API. The fee is $39 per channel per month.
When usage applies. Buy WABA is $39 plus message usage, billed according to WhatsApp rates. On Bring your own WABA, usage is paid to Meta, not to 1MSG.
